While the world pandemic has not really affected what we do with the pets, it has certainly brought changes to how we work with our 2-legged clients.
Our facility has been strictly Valet (curbside) service since mid-March 2020. Our masked staff will come to you at your vehicle to collect/return your pet(s) and their luggage.
Our famously transparent tours available without appt 10-7 daily, are still available but are outdoor only. We’ll let you peak in the windows and you’ll still come away with a very good idea of how it all works. The experience is still well worth the trip if you’re at all nervous about your pet’s first visit.
Strict staff COVID protocols are in place and we remain diligent in following AHS guidelines to keep each other safe. We’ve always social distanced the dogs here so their staff attendants stay naturally distanced as well. We’ve always had great cleaning routines and pet/environment friendly disinfectant that we literally buy by the (very expensive) barrel. We’re going thru lots more of it these days in our hi-human touch areas and on incoming guest luggage. Staff arriving on shift step thru a disinfectant shoe tray, wash hands and change street coats into kennel coats. Each staff person has their own assigned personal dog leashes only they use on the dogs they work with. We provide our staff with triple layer quality, custom masks. Numerous hand sanitizer stations are located throughout the facility.
A good news story that came about since the pandemic is our fabulous Private Pooch Playpark, where families/small cohort groups are invited out to enjoy safe outdoor activity with their furry family members. The park is completely private and securely fenced.
"Best kennel I’ve been to!"
Best Kennel I’ve been to! Had a rough search of Edmonton area kennels and this one is by far the best. Glenpark Pet Hotel treats my dog like he’s family and he gets excited to go there every time I drop him off, which speaks for itself. I wouldn’t feel comfortable leaving him anywhere else now that I’ve found them. I recommend them to all of my friends and family looking for somewhere to leave their pet and be confident they will get the best car...
"The very best of care..."
We know that our pets, Maggie and McDuff, receive the very best of care and attention when they’re at Glenpark Pet Hotel and Suites! It’s always a comfort to us to know that they are receiving the same love as when we’re home. Thanks to the Glenpark Pet Hotel and Suites team for everything you do!
"By far the best kennel..."
This is by far the best kennel for dogs. The staff is very attentive, our dog looks forward to her stay as she gets very excited on the drive out there. These people know and understand dogs well. Our dog comes home not smelling like a kennel and her stuff is well looked after. I have no hesitation to recommend this facility.
"Glenpark is the best I have found..."
I have taken my 3 dogs to many boarding facilities over the years and Glenpark is the best I have found. One of my dogs is blind and another has a heart condition. They are always very considerate of my pets special needs and go out of their way to make sure that I feel comfortable leaving them. I always get an update about their stay on pick up and I appreciate hearing how it all went. They are always friendly, they remember my dogs and greet th...
"Recommended by a friend..."
This place was recommended by a friend and what a fabulous recommendation it was. Not only was the staff super friendly and truly pet lovers but they treated the dogs like royalty. I have 2 dogs and they went for their first trip at Christmas time. We will definitely be bringing them back sooner than later.
"My dog Norman loves it..."
My whole family takes their pets to Glenpark whenever there is a big vacation. My dog Norman loves it and always come home super clean and happily tired. It’s a bit of drive from the city but totally worth it for how happy my dog is when we leave him and pick him up.
"So much fun..."
“I had so much fun at your Hotel! I can’t wait for Mommy & Daddy to go away again! (you give me more treats ?). See you again soon...”
