GLENPARK PET HOTEL GUEST INFORMATION

ROOM SERVICE AT GLENPARK PET HOTEL • CUSTOM CARE FOR YOUR BEST FRIEND

Feeding Time Options to conform to your pets' regular routine

Meals are served 2 times daily (8:30 am / 5:30 pm). Puppies and special medical needs guests can be fed more frequently. As all our guestrooms & suites are private, we can permit pets to free feed (graze) throughout the day, if that is their usual routine and your preference. We request you provide us with written feeding instructions on your New Guest Folio form. We provide stainless steel food dishes and water buckets – you can bring your own plastic dish if you wish but no glass or ceramic, please.

We strongly recommend you provide your pets’ usual food and snacks for them to enjoy during their stay. This will decrease any possibility of stomach upset. We can provide dry kibble food at a cost of $1/cup if required.

Housekeeping service is provided twice daily (or more often if needed) to keep our guest rooms clean and comfy. Only pet and environmentally-friendly cleaners and disinfectants are used by our well-trained housekeeping staff. Every guestroom is completely self-contained (waterproof) for zero opportunity for fluids to ever pass from one Guestroom to another.

GPH Fire/Tornado/Emergency Evacuation Protocols:

While we don't mix guests, build secure fences, add perimeter fences, cameras and microphones and systems galore to keep everyone safe there are some things you just cannot control.

Fire:

In case of a building fire dogs would be evacuated to the outdoor yards. The quarantine pens in the garage plus added crates could accommodate up to 25 dogs if necessary. The building is equipped with smoke and CO2 alarms to code.

In case of a local wildfire (full property evacuation) the pet's owners/ emergency contacts would be contacted with as much notice as possible to retrieve their pets. Any remaining pets will go with GPH staff/management into their vehicles and depending on numbers we'll either take them home &/or to another facility outside the immediate area.

Storm:

When extreme summer T-storms start up we get all the dogs back indoors and crank up the fans (and the music) to soften the outdoor sounds. We ask our clients and we take notice and track the dogs who are especially storm sensitive. Our software provides us a “thunder report" of the known storm sensitive dogs who are in the building so we can go to them quickly to provide some extra comfort. Several come with thunder jackets and some come with calming meds in extreme cases.

Tornado:

In case of tornado we would follow the above process same as wild fire. If no time to evacuate the property we would have staff with dogs in crates and on leashes get to the farmhouse basement for shelter.
